Great vid, great music, very mooving. The geniuses who dislike it dislike all things military and aviation oriented, think we should surrender in the current war, and have a posters of Jimmy carter on the wall......with Neville chamberlain. I know that may not make much sense, but it made me feel better. I saw Hoover several times between 64 and 89, and he is the master.
I see there are a few dislikes on this video. I can not imagine what could be the motivation for that. This video personifies what Bob's soul is doing - he is quite simply dancing with the sky. It's an amazing expression, even if it is a war machine, and only is a reflection of the time in our human history. And yet, this still shows what the human spirit longs for - expression, connection and freedom. I could not like this video more if I tried.
thanks for bringing back memories ,,, my dad worked around planes at the worcester mass. airport ,, he introduced me to the dc3 in 1947 ,,, and you know the feeling well of our passion and love of flight ,,
yes ,,, flying is the most graceful thing a person can do ,,, if done right ,,,,, no limit to the motion ,,, and bob went beyond what we know as grace ,,he was spiritual in a plane
yup, either that or the gracefull flight it was, like he was safely and slowly testing its wings . then again it could have been the soundtrack too that greatly enhanced the elegance of the flight or was it the flight that enhanced the soundtrack. simply said, it was beautifull I'll say no more.
Miss my dad. Flew a P-51D with the Philippine Air Force, graduated PAFS class 53-B. He so loved aircraft and infected me with that passion even if the only flying I do these days is on commercial jetliners. At least I get lots of that.
Beautiful, very beautiful flying.
