I got similar results with an H2O Vac Turbo and a power head that I used an adapter on to plug into a normal outlet, I had to vacuum our bedrooms (3) 6 times before the water stopped being black and filled with cat hair, I vacuumed all the bedrooms with a Dyson DC14 right before and the H2O vac was still full of cat hair even on the 6th time using it... Funny thing: The cats (2) aren't even allowed in the bedrooms.
