Wow that was like a whisper compared to mine. My washing machine sounded like London Underground. I'm now changing the bearings on a Indesit WIL153uk. When I took the spider off there were loose bearings all over the place. The shaft was deformed from the constant grinding, so I had to file it down to get the shattered bearing off. P.S, a few months ago the element on my electric oven went and I changed that with ease. White collar to blue collar in the space of a few months, thanks recession.
