HSN just sells the product. Julie Truster works for Hoover and sells the product. They show the features and performance and sell the product. Done. You are on the internet arguing with one of the most arrogant people on Youtube. your wasting your time arguing with someone who just works for a vacuum shop. Don't waste your time on him.
BalasHapushey wondering dont u people do the shark cleaner too!!!
BalasHapusI'm confused you said that your friend complained it smells like "pet dander" but he doesn't have a pet, plus he vacuums up food.GROSS! What's he picking up onions, raw meat, fish who knows?LOL Does he own a restaurant that grooms dogs?????? It's O.K. to pick up popcorn, crumbs, dry cereal or dog food( if he had a dog).
BalasHapusOh changing his bag every six months. BIG PROBLEM......Most vacuum bags get changed every 1-3 months!! No wonder it smells??? Leave a hamper full of dirty clothes for 6 months ?
i agree...but, that's no the case...i have buddy that shampoos the carpets professionally at least 4 times a year, with no pets and the vacuum still smells after only a month of use...one bag is supposed to last at least 4 to 6 months...the problem is with the food remains and other stuff that get vacuumed into the bag....i wished there was a vacuum with the power and filtration and maneuverability of the Miele S7 but did not have a bag. this way you can empty the bin after every use.
BalasHapusThe S7 is a great machine! If people would have ther carpets cleaned more often to remove the the dander smell and the oil from there pets coat that gets rubbed into the carpet fibers that would certainlly help, or changing the bags and filters as recomended my the manufactor. Problem solved. P.S. Both companys use charcoal filters to absorb unpleasant smells but they need to be changed (about every 50 hours) once a year.
BalasHapuslol....funny...i am glad that you have a sense of humor...what do you think about Miele S7 series? I've heard that bag vacuums start to smell once the bag starts to fill up with trash and pet dander.
BalasHapusHow dare you blame it on American ingenuity LOL This is as Chinese as you can get! It's a want to be. It really isn't even close to the quailty of a Dyson! And I'm not even a Dyson fan! I just pefer using bags.
BalasHapusthat looks like a Dyson filter, lol....really...so much for American ingenuity
BalasHapus28 feet is kind of short....my current vacuum has a 40 feet long cord
BalasHapusMy god. If it were my video, I'd just delete and/or block the ever vocal loser below. It wouldn't be about censorship. When I get a loose lipped wacko hanging around, they are gone. And that's because if you don't get rid of them, like weeds, they think it's their time to mouth off, over and over and over. End of story.
BalasHapusRiccar and Simplicity are both American made and work way better than an Oreck, or Dyson ever will. IMHO, the Rainbow vacuum is the best, yes it cost a lot but you get what you pay for right? I couldn't agree with you more about things being made outside of America and Hoover at one point did make great vacuums.
BalasHapusI just find that HSN informercials are just so melodramatic and cheesy.
BalasHapusI don't believe I'm a hypocrite. We do sell the Hoover T-Series we just don't sell the "PET" version. And we explain to customers the differances between vacuums. If the customer decides they want one vac over the other, for whatever reason, It is their money to spend as they like. I just think they should be given the right information to make that choice. We have vacuums starting @ $59.95. Not everyone can afford a better vacuum. We make no secret of the fact we are a retailer.
BalasHapusAs tto the dirt on your fill tube, I would suggest useing the certified HEPA filter bag for your Kirby. I'm not sure what you mean about selling their soul to TTI. and Dirt Devil. Dirt Devil is / was a part of Royal appliance prior to TTI buying them. Dirt Devil was just their plastic devision that made lower end products for the Jumbo marts of the world. They still produce a quality product, just owned by another company. I'm sure for enough money Kirby would sell out. Everything is for sell
BalasHapusand your a hypocrite. You SELL THE T-SERIES. If they are such a terrible vacuum why not junk the ones you have in your store?
BalasHapusLol hsn sells dyson. they aren't fake, nor scripted.
BalasHapusAs far as the rubber flippers on the turbo tool, it might be of some help but it does nothing for carpet cleaning. Also the pet hair gets wrapped around the brush roll and turbine after only a few uses and then does not turn very fast. People should consult true floorcare professionals about their needs and get the real scoop and not but their vacuums based on cute commercials written buy marketing depts that are designed to appeal to their emotions.
BalasHapusYou don't see kirby selling them self's out to bissell or shark for money.
BalasHapusWhat i also found kinda pointless is how you threw the age factor at me about how royal is from 1906. So is kirby. Hello roto-matic canister? used water? james kirbys first working vacuum? Yeah. just because its from 1906 does not mean it cleans better. it just means they are a old company. And keep in mind your talking about a "Quality" company that sold their soul to tti and DIRTDEVIL for MONEY
BalasHapusand dirty air machines are SEALED? I see dirt all the time on my fill tube in my kirby. They sure seal the motor and the emptor but dont give two craps about the fill tube and bag!!!
BalasHapusMost vauums will pick up pet hair if their belt is not strecthed out. most people do not change them often enough. Pet hair is not that diffacult, deep cleaning your carpet which can double it's life is much harder to do. As far as the Charcoal hepa filter is concerned, It is not a truley sealed certified HEPA filter. Therefore there is plenty of dust and oders escaping from around the filter. HEPA is a very misued term.
BalasHapusThat sacrifice is their choice to make. I just think they should know the facts and not buy their next vacuum based on advertising and marketing BS. Vacuums today are designed by marketing depts. to sell vacuums not truely do the best job at deep cleaning carpet. vacuums that call themselves pet vacuums are a prime example of this type of marketing. Vacuums with the tools on board are better a cleaning carpet than vacuums with tools onboard. That is a fact of physics not just an opinion.
BalasHapusSurveys have shown that people do care about getting their carpets clean. Problem is they don't really know what makes a vacuum work. They don't really get an education at the local Jumbo mart and they certainly don't get a true education from buying from HSN. Its all about agitation and airflow. Suction is no good without airflow. Most vacuums with the tools onboard have great suction and little to no airflow. Customers sacrifice truely clean carpets for the convience of having on board tools.
BalasHapusThey have a carbon filter for the pet odors and rubber flippers on the turbo nozzle for pet hair and a pet hair upholstery tool.
BalasHapusBut people don't care about that..... I mean i do. But the average Joe does not care. they want something that can grab a quick corner and get a cobweb with out fumbling with a hose... My mother has had a kirby sentria since 06. She got a dc17 and dc28 as a secondary vacuum. the dc28 is now here main because of the convenience factor..
