If you MUST get a Miele, get one with foot switches that are property designed. Models with smooth, angled on/off foot switches are hard to operate since pressing on the slick angled buttons sends the machine across the floor.
Wheels don't go over the cord, they DRAG the cord with the machine.
Pet Hair gets caught in the wheel axels and the power head due to bad design.
I love my Miele but think the plastic section which houses the onboard tools is flimsy and does not always shut properly. Poor design. Who got to sign off that part?
