  1. Bighutch I feel it has to be a serious candidate. It's definitely one of them, no mistake.

  2. I played this album so much i nearly wore the grooves of it. Saw them live and they were awful! Luckily, Magnapop were supporting them that night and they were brilliant!

  3. More recent versions were rereleased by Rhino only a couple of months ago! ie with bonus tracks, deluxe packaging etc

  4. It was rereleased a few years ago, and IIRC you can still get both the reissued cd and vinyl from Amazon.

  5. Correct, but if you do post your opinion somewhere people do have a right to respond and disagree.

  6. Ever heard of OPINIONS? It's my opinion that this is an EXCEPTIONAL song...that's all. You have your opinions, I have mine.

  7. Do you even realize the hilarious irony of saying something like that on video for a song by Bob Mould?

And yes, this is a great song, though I think it would be a bit of a stretch to say it was "America's Best."

  8. You're the one with cock in the head, not me. Go suck another, homo.

  9. Man...It is a great song. But the best ever? Put that cock back in your pants. Jesus!

  11. How about Adam Ant? Good makeup....

  12. No. Compare Adam Levine To The Other Adam From Counting Crows. As A Matter Of Fact You Can Only Compare ANYBODY Named "ADAM" With Other AssHoles Named Adam. It Is A UniVersal Fact. Adams Can Only Be Compared With Other Adams. The ONLY Exception Is That Guitarist From KillSwitch Engage... I Honestly Think THat HE Is THE ONLY "Adam" That Rocks.

  15. One of my favourite albums of all time, such a shame it's almost impossible to find :/

  16. OK, thanks very much for that info, I shall listen to it in a broader context in the future!

  17. Bob has said that the song is about traveling across America, and not just specifically about the Hoover Dam. That's why he talks about the Mississippi, New Orleans, the Gulf of Mexico, etc. Hope that helps!

  18. Could someone clear this up for me please? I'm only from the UK but even with my limited knowledge of American geography I'm pretty sure that the Missisippi river is nowhere near The Hoover Dam! Is he referring to something that I'm just not getting as the second verse just doesn't make sense in the context of a song specifically about The Hoover Dam? It's a great great song but this kind of spoils it a bit for me so please, somone, put me straight!

  20. Proof that Bob Mould can make a great song without guitar-shredding.
